Electronic Security Industry Deemed “Essential” During COVID-19 Pandemic

Pursuant to Governor Henry McMaster’s Executive Orders (2020-17 & 2020-18), only those businesses deemed essential may remain open during the State of Emergency due to COVID-19. The electronic security industry has been deemed essential based on these orders. Employees who are critical to the minimum basic operations of the business have been instructed to comply with social distancing rules/requirements in the jurisdiction, as well as other safety and health precautions.

If you have questions regarding the essential services of electronic security businesses, please contact the SCESA at (803) 960-2249 or [email protected].
